Hey guys, I’m here with the sixth Harry Potter movie. Half-Blood Prince is kind of the setup for the final battle.
The story is about Harry discovering the identity of the Half-Blood Prince. He also learns more about Voldemort’s past and how to destroy him. Meanwhile, Dumbledore is taking Harry on secret missions.
What I loved is the backstory we get about Voldemort. Seeing his childhood and how he became who he is makes him a much more interesting villain.
The romance in this one is heavy. Harry likes Ginny, Ron likes Hermione, and there’s a lot of drama. It’s funny and adds some lightness to the dark story.
The ending is tragic. Dumbledore dies and it hits hard. He was such an important character and you feel the loss.
What could be better is that the movie focuses more on romance than the important stuff. They cut out a lot of Voldemort’s memories which are the most important part of the book.
If you want to understand Voldemort better, watch this one. The memories are fascinating even though there aren’t enough of them.
I give it a 7 out of 10. It’s the weakest of the series but still good.
