Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

Hey guys, I’m back with my review of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. This is where it all started. The first movie in the Harry Potter series, and honestly, it’s so nostalgic.

The story is about a young boy named Harry Potter who discovers he’s a wizard on his eleventh birthday. He goes to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and makes friends with Ron and Hermione. Together, they uncover a mystery about the Philosopher’s Stone.

What I loved is how magical everything feels. The world-building is amazing. Hogwarts Castle, Diagon Alley, the moving stairs, everything feels so real and magical. You get completely lost in this world.

The characters are great. Harry, Ron, and Hermione are perfect together. Their friendship feels genuine, and you root for them from the beginning. The teachers are also amazing, especially Dumbledore and Snape.

The movie is family-friendly and fun. There’s no dark stuff yet, just pure adventure and wonder.

What could be better is the pacing. Some parts feel slow, and the movie is quite long. Also, the special effects are a bit dated now, but it was made in 2001, so you can’t blame them.

If you love fantasy or just want to start the Harry Potter series, this is the perfect place to begin. It’s fun for all ages.

I give it a 7.5 out of 10. It’s a great start to the series, but the later movies are even better.
