Hey guys, I’m back with the final part of the Dark Knight trilogy. The Dark Knight Rises wraps up the Batman story in a big way.
The story is about Batman coming out of retirement to face Bane, a powerful terrorist intent on destroying Gotham City. Batman is broken, older, and weaker, but he has to rise again to save his city.
What I loved is how the story gives Batman a proper ending. He doesn’t just win and ride off into the sunset. He sacrifices himself for Gotham, and it’s emotional.
Tom Hardy as Bane is great. He’s terrifying and powerful. His voice is weird, but it works for the character. He feels like a real threat.
The action is fantastic. The fight scenes are brutal, and the chase scenes are intense. The whole movie feels big and epic.
What could be better is the plot. Some holes and things don’t make sense. Also, the movie is really long, and some parts drag.
If you liked the first two Dark Knight movies, you need to watch this one to complete the story. It’s not as good as The Dark Knight, but it’s a satisfying ending.
I give it an 8 out of 10. A solid end to a great trilogy.
