Hey guys, I’m here with a review of Forrest Gump. This movie is one of those films that makes you laugh, cry, and feel good all at the same time.
The story is about Forrest Gump, a man with a low IQ but a heart of gold. He accidentally becomes part of some of the biggest events in American history. From meeting presidents to starting a shrimp business, Forrest’s life is anything but ordinary. Through it all, he never loses his kindness and honesty.
What I loved is how unique this movie is. It’s funny, sad, and inspiring all at once. Tom Hanks is perfect as Forrest. You completely believe in his character, and you root for him from the beginning.
The historical moments are so well done. Forrest meeting Elvis, JFK, and other famous figures is hilarious and clever. The movie makes history fun.
The relationship between Forrest and Jenny is emotional. You feel for Forrest because he loves her so much, but she keeps running away. The ending is heartbreaking but beautiful.
What could be better is the length. It’s a long movie, and some parts in the middle feel slow. Also, Jenny’s character is frustrating at times.
If you like feel-good movies with heart and humor, this one is for you. It’s a classic for a reason.
I give Forrest Gump an 8.5 out of 10. A beautiful and heartwarming film.
